Behind The B-Roll Online
Behind The B-Roll Online was started by Marco Rosas in early 2024. After years of experience in journalism and content creation through several different mediums and outlets, Marco decided to create his own outlet. He created Behind the B-Roll to take control of this own journalism content. The goal of Behind The B-Roll is to provide informative, entertaining, and well produced content while deviating from traditional broadcast and print journalism norms.

Marco Rosas was born and raised in Madera, CA. His central valley roots show in his work and work ethic. Family and friends know him as a giving man who wears his heart on his sleeve.

As a photojournalist for the duopoly of KSEE 24/CBS 47 in Fresno, California, Marco had the opportunity to fine tune a lot of skills in a professional setting while also telling community stories with the talented reporters of both stations.
FRESNO STATE FOCUS (BROADCAST 2023)
Though he took a brief hiatus during the pandemic, Marco returned to finish his Bachelor’s Degree at Fresno State and work on Fresno State Focus, the campus news.
THE RAMPAGE (PRINT 2017)
At Fresno City College, Marco was a reporter for the college newspaper, The Rampage. After spending a semester as a reporter he went on to become Arts and Entertainment Editor at The Rampage.
CURBSIDE DETAIL (SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST 2022)
After relocating from Madera to Fresno, Marco briefly took on the role of social media specialist at Curbside Detail, where he fine tuned his skills as a video editor, cameraman, and audio engineer.
CROSSFIT MADERA (2019-2022)
While still living in Madera, Marco left his part-time job at Lowe’s to coach functional fitness at a locally owned gym that has since shut down.
During the pandemic he continued to sharpen his videography and photography, creating promotional content for the gym’s YouTube channel and Instagram.
